Final Interim: On my own!

For our final interim in march 2021, this one was different unlike the others, we had to do this on our own and not as a group. As I had used Artsteps before I knew what I was doing and comfortable with doing it on my own even though I was a bit nervous, It was good just to have myself to rely on. The last time I had chosen my exhibition photos my project had only just changed for looking at mental health and the emotions you face to looking at my sisters disability, this time I had loads more images then last time and the project had moved forward It developed from being on the objects around my sisters disability that she used in daily life, to expanding it on the relationship we have with her as a family. This final exhibition I had a lot more images to be able to use and show off my project, it was just narrowing down the right ones that would showcase my work best. When I finally narrowed down which images I was going to use, I played around with sequences on the wall to find which sequence fitted better, when all the images were placed on the wall I then set up a guided tour. The virtual exhibition was then posted for everyone to see. Like last time we had to do peer reviews, online on Teams this time we paired in to groups of 2 or 3 and would be given a group to look at their work and vice versa. We had a list of questions we had to go through and answer them, we then sent the peer review to the students we had been assigned to and they sent there’s to us. I got really good feedback from my peers saying that they could tell the project was personal to the photography, that the name ‘Cutie” worked well and the images used were great but could of done with more images shown in the exhibition.
