Simon Weldon: Feedback

After emailing Simon, I got a response pretty quickly, he said that if I send that he would love to have a look at my work and that if I sent him my project and an artist statement he would have a look and get back to, I sent him it that day. After a few days Simon emailed back to organise a time to talk to him about his feedback on a teams call. During in the call Simon had said how much he liked the project and how he could tell the project was personal to me, through the images and the artist statement, that it was very powerful and could feel the project was personal. Simon said to look a narrow the subject down as they was more then one subject in this project. This help me narrow down my project and focus on the subject that meant the most which was the relationship with family and carried on the subject from there. Simon also told me to look in to different photographers such as Sian Davey, even though it was not the same project does not mean you can not take things away from this and references on books and website to look into for more information.
